Your thoughtful presentation of Hindu artefacts brought the essence of Hinduism to life for our Year 4 learners. Providing tangible connections to its rich traditions and beliefs, the interactive workshop allowed our pupils to immerse themselves in the beauty and depth of Hindu culture. Your visit not only expanded the children's understanding of Hindu culture but also fostered a spirit of curiosity and respect for diversity. We are immensely grateful for your time and expertise, and we look forward to more enriching experiences in the future. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion with us!

Tulsi gave a whole school assembly sharing what those following the Hindu faith believe and how it affects their everyday lives. She then spent time in Year 3 where they looked at what it is like to be a Hindu in the UK now and Year 5 looked at questions about how the story of Sita and Rama influences Hindu lives. Tulsi answered questions about her beautiful Saris clothing the holy book they use and how it feels to be a Hindu and how it affects her everyday life! The children really enjoyed it and have talked lots about it since.

Tulsi came to our assembly to talk about Akshaya Tritiya. This is a Hindu festival of new beginnings which is being celebrated today. We enjoy celebrating the great diversity of our community at Longwood so this was a great experience for our children.
